Background

I come from a family of immigrants whose back bone was built off of dreams and a future of uncertainty. I was taught to fight for what I wanted, even if it seemed out of reach, because those were the sweetest victories. My parents broke their backs, bled at the hands from the prickly fruit they picked. A job passed down from their parents and those before. Allowing my ancestors to get a taste of what an inheritance was. I am standing here with a masters degree in my own two hands, but the hands of my ancestors are what make the weight bearable. They are what drive me to constantly break free from the limitations held on my people. To define my own limits, rather than allow others to decide that for me. I am a byproduct of my parents' dreams and aspirations. Living proof that their bravery wasn't in vain. Despite lacking experience in the field of Architecture, I know I carry the courage to prove I am capable. To prove to your firm, myself, and those around me that I am.
