Daniel Goldstein
Registered Architect
Project Architect at Minarik Architecture
Background
I am a registered architect writing to express my interest in Project Architect opportunities. I am beginning my 5th year as a Project Architect with Minarik Architecture, where my work has consisted of a range of project types including private homes, multifamily residential, institutional, ground-up commercial, and tenant improvement projects. As Project Architect, I lead the design, documentation, and construction administration phases from concept through completion, directly collaborating with Doug Minarik. Currently, I am nearing the end of construction administration for a 12 building, 286 unit apartment complex with clubhouse in Idaho Falls, ID, as well as leading the construction document phase for a 14,000 sf business and design headquarters for a quickly growing backpack company in Bozeman, MT. Prior to moving to Portland, I worked for CCY Architects in Basalt, CO for 5 years, where I primarily focused on high-end residential and hospitality projects. Additionally, independent of Minarik and CCY, I recently completed architectural services for private home in Sisters, OR, with exterior hardscape and landscaping starting to be installed this spring. In addition to the skills and qualifications noted in my resume, I would like to add that I am a hard-working, highly motivated and dedicated designer. I believe strong communication and collaboration in a high-energy studio environment is the perfect formula for making a positive impact on existing communities and the unbuilt environment.
