Background

John Lockwood Carhart is a licensed architect in Oregon and New York with 32 years of professional experience in a wide range of building types. A native of Portland, John received his Bachelor of Architecture from The University of Oregon in 1991 and went on to gain his professional training with several prominent architecture firms in Chicago, New York, Portland and Los Angeles. John’s main interest is to improve our cities and neighborhoods with thoughtful and responsible architecture - making them more active, vibrant, functional and beautiful.
