Background
Shinjini Basu received her Master’s degree in Advanced Architectural Design from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, United Kingdom and secured a distinction. In her Master’s thesis and dissertation, she was deeply involved in urban design which helped in developing an understanding of urban fabric and human behavior towards their built environment. She pursued her five year- Bachelor’s degree from Piloo Mody College of Architecture, Odisha, India. She is proficient in using AutoCad, 3Ds Max, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suites, Lumion, Revit and other related software.
In her professional career till date, she has managed 20+ residential projects (ca. 300,000 sq. ft.) and she has been a part of the team leading the tallest residential tower (The 42) in eastern India. She has also managed 15+ public and urban design projects (ca. 100,000 sq. ft.). Along with that, she has experience of working in close liaison with government officials which include Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officials and Member of Parliament (MP). She is a Legal Permanent Resident in United States and does not require any Visa sponsorship.
