    Background

My background includes working in Architecture for over 30 years specializing in AutoCAD, Blue Beam, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other software. I have had some experience with Revit and Sketchup as well. Won awards for my Photoshop work, placed 3rd in AUGI’s Top DAUG competition and was an adjunct professor teaching ACAD in college settings for many years. Experience includes residential construction involving sweat equity housing, midrise podium style mixed use housing, condos, apartments, senior living facilities and cottages as well as award winning multimillion-dollar homes. I also have experience with commercial buildings, wineries, TI, public projects, and everything in between. I was job captain for clients such as Super Cuts and Famous Footwear and managed multiple teams upwards of 22 drafters working on various projects all over the West Coast and when working as Project Manager on senior cottages I juggled 70+ projects. I drafted for electrical engineers, plumbing; both landscape and building, HVAC, solar array deployment, low voltage life safety, and other areas which gives me better insight into working with consultants. In most firms I have been the Systems Manager or CAD Manager. I have extensive experience training and mentoring individuals and offices on how to be more productive. With one firm we went from a 4 day to a 4 hour turn-around doing cellular array drawings. I also consulted for Autodesk assisting their lead engineers better future software versions. I am setup to either work from home or come into an office. I ran my own drafting business for many years working from a home office and I have fully licensed copies of AutoCAD, Photoshop, Office, and other applications.
