Background

I have participated in almost all facets of the architecture, design, and construction industries for the majority of my life, I make efforts to better my offices and colleagues, and I have an eye for quality draftsmanship and presentation that I believe communicates effectively and reduces mistakes in the field. In my seven years of architectural drafting, design, and project management capacities I dealt primarily in custom residential design, with several experiences in multi-family, mixed-use, corporate, hotel, and resort projects. I feel that my recent experience in high-end architectural lighting design was valuable and I am committed to continue working on that specialization. I am extremely adept in my knowledge, use, and ability to learn or teach design programs in general, and am no stranger to BIM modelling requirements or xref file management. Juggling multiple projects at once has been a staple of several of my previous positions. The majority of my experience been one of small design teams and close-knit firms; I believe that I thrive in environments like this that necessitate creative problem solving and consistent adaptation. I am currently studying for the licensing exams, but rest assured that I am not the type of person who would then jump ship to start my own practice because I am very committed to the people I choose to work with.
