Wage Offered: $36.00 per hour ($74,880 annually) — This wage meets or exceeds the prevailing wage determination issued by the U.S. Department of Labor (PWD Case No. P-100-26072-703430).
Job Duties: The Architectural Designer position is a full-time, on-site role responsible for supporting architectural projects from design development through construction administration. The position requires collaboration with internal project teams, external consultants, and partner architectural firms to deliver code-compliant, technically accurate, and schedule-driven projects for public and institutional clients, including K-12 educational facilities.
Specific duties include:
- Collaborate with internal project teams throughout all phases of architectural projects.
- Produce, manage, and coordinate architectural construction documents.
- Assist in developing and maintaining project design schedules and fee structures.
- Coordinate with consultants and collaborating architectural firms in shared BIM environments.
- Utilize Autodesk Revit and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for model coordination, documentation and collaboration.
- Maintain consistency between architectural models, drawings, and project specifications.
- Support compliance with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and jurisdictional requirements.
- Participate in coordination meetings and on-site project activities as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (5-year) or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- 5+ years (60 months) of professional architectural experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (certification preferred or equivalent demonstrated proficiency); proficiency in AutoCAD, Enscape, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam.
- Demonstrated advanced experience working within Building Information Modeling (BIM) environments and cloud-based collaboration platforms such as Autodesk BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), including coordination of architectural models with consultants and external project teams.
- Experience working on K-12 educational projects.
- Architectural license in the State of Oregon or path to licensure.
- Working knowledge of Oregon building codes and local zoning regulations.
- Ability to work on-site in Eugene, Oregon.
- Full-time availability (40 hours per week).
- Portfolio demonstrating skills required for this position.
